Professor, Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse-Oncopole, Toulouse, France
Jill Corre is a Professor at the Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse-Oncopole and a recognized expert in multiple myeloma biology and pharmacogenomics. She earned her PharmD and PhD from the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Tours and completed her residency in Medical Biology with a specialization in Hematology at the University Hospital of Toulouse.
Dr. Corre has been a member of the Hematology Laboratory at Toulouse University Hospital since 2007, where she has advanced to a professorship. Her doctoral work focused on the myeloma microenvironment, with particular emphasis on mesenchymal stromal cells and their role in disease progression.
In 2012, she joined the genomics research group led by Hervé Avet-Loiseau, contributing to pioneering work in myeloma genomics at the Toulouse Oncopole. Her current research is centered on pharmacogenomics of multiple myeloma within the Cancer Research Center of Toulouse, with a focus on understanding molecular drivers of disease and therapeutic response.
Dr. Corre is an active member of the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome and the International Myeloma Society, and is widely recognized for her contributions to translational research in myeloma.
