Julie brings nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare and clinical research to K36. She first realized clinical research was her passion during a nursing  rotation at the General Clinical Reseach Center at MUSC and has never looked back. 

 

Julie spent many years as monitor and then transitioned to clinical trial management gaining experience with CROs, as well as biotech/pharma.

 

Prior to joining K36 Therapeutics, Julie was with Allogene Therapeutics where she led the BCMA and CD-70 cell therapy study teams. 

 

​Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (First Honor Graduate) from the Medical University of South Carolina and earned her Master of Science in Nursing, focused in Clinical Research Management, from Duke University.
