Laura Versmée, MD

Senior Medical Director

Dr. Laura Versmée draws on over a decade of experience bridging academic research and the pharmaceutical industry, with deep expertise in clinical development, bioinformatics, and data-driven innovation. 

 

Prior to joining K36, Laura served as Indication Lead for hematology programs at Daiichi-Sankyo, overseeing the studies in the development of three compounds. Previously, she was a Medical Director at Takeda, where she led clinical studies for several hematology assets, including CAR-NK therapies and modakafusp alfa.

 

Laura also completed a Clinical Translational Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and served as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, contributing to translational science and biomedical data innovation.

 

Laura began her career as a physician at the Bergonié Cancer Institute in Bordeaux, France, specializing in multiple myeloma and lymphoma. She received her MD from the University of Limoges.
